Recycled Aluminium
Recycled aluminum creates less waste and requires significantly less energy to produce than extracting virgin aluminum.
We work with both large and small energy improvements. Since 2023 we have been part of a Danish solar park, which significantly increases our share of solar energy. In 2021, wind, water and solar poewr accounted for approximately 12% of our total energy consumption.
By 2024 however, we reached a major milestone: 100% of our electricity now comes from solar power, matching our current production needs*. This shift alone has reduced our emissions by approximately 766 tons of CO₂e in 2024 compared to conventional grid electricity.
We have also changed all lighting in our offices and factory to LED, which has saved us 42% on our overall energy consumption from lighting.
Heating at our factory has been continuously improved. In 2022, we introduced two new kettles that use wooden pellets instead of oil. The wooden pellets are certified as CO₂-neutral in accordance with applicable standards, and the kettles have reduced our overall heating consumption by half.

*Based on current production levels. If production increases significantly, we may need to supplement with additional renewable sources or grid electricity while we scale our solar capacity accordingly.
