The sauté pot, or braiser, can be described as a sauté pan with extra-high sides and two side handles instead of one long handle. The high sides make it especially well suited for dishes that require stirring, while the generous cooking surface is ideal when you need to brown meat, for example.
The braiser comes with a lid and is therefore also ideal for slow-cooked dishes.
It is also suitable for baking, such as pot bread, as the pan, lid and handles are ovenproof up to 250 °C. The small handles, familiar from our pots, are particularly practical in the oven, as they take up less space than our long pan handles.
And of course, it features our well-known Stratanium® non-stick coating, making cleaning exceptionally easy.
Strong construction
Products in the CTX range are manufactured at our factory in Denmark. The series is suited for all cooktops, including induction. The CTX range is constructed with performance and functionality in focus. Each product is built of 5 layers, each one with its own function - among them steel for durability and induction compatibility and an aluminium core due to its excellent heat conductivity. In addition to the user-friendly features given by materials, construction and production technique, pans and pots from the CTX series are formed in true Danish design with an exterior of satin finish steel in sharp contrast to the black interior.
Unique non-stick coating
Products in the CTX range have the famous SCANPAN non-stick coating, which is hard-wearing and very easy to clean. Our coating consists of multiple layers that during the production process melt together, forming one exceptionally solid surface.
